Boston rookie Tyler Seguin’s chances for getting high-quality icetime just went up.
The injury to Marc Savard (post-concussion) will allow Seguin to slip into situations the Bruins would otherwise give to Savard, meaning that top-6 wingers and power play minutes may come much sooner than anyone expected.
Hopefully Savard is able to play most of the season (he’s one of our fantasy favourites).
Don’t expect 60 points from Seguin – he still has to make the team. His odds of making it and actually playing just went up though.
